I mean… who doesn’t love a functional and beautiful pantry?
Creativity in the kitchen around dinner time is so much more realistic when you’re not flustered looking for stuff.
Imagine what a functional and organized pantry could mean for you and your family?
More creative meals? ✅
Less time in the kitchen ✅
Less stress and overwhelm around mealtime? ✅
Delegated responsibilities of the kiddos maintaining the space because systems exist 👀? ✅
Ok, so with any space, you always want to ensure you’re aiming for function first! So here are ✌🏾 tips to ensure that happens, if you’re going to DIY…
1️⃣ Establish zones and categories. Likes should always go with likes. So pasta with pasta or rice with rice. You can even do broader categories like “dinner.” The point is, you should keep the categories similar and together.
2️⃣ Add structure. Yes, you can organize without the likes of products like baskets and turntables, etc…. but creating lasting systems that can be maintained by everyone WITHOUT is a tad bit hard. Consider snagging products to add the structure and implement systems EVERYONE can follow. (Remember, you want to be able to delegate tasks… so if systems exist, anyone can help to maintain them.)
Here a few of my go-to products for pantry organization below:
And for the pretty… because I know you want a pantry that looks JUST as gorgeous 🥰 as this.
Here are my top ✌🏾 tips:
1️⃣ Mix your textures: Add versatility to the space you’re organizing by using different styles of products. Naturals, metals, and acrylic always look pretty together.
2️⃣ Decant your flours, sugars, cereals, and spices. Put them in pretty jars, find a pretty label and create a cohesive look. You’ll be so happy with it. 😘
Meet me in the comments, are you going to revamp your pantry space!? If so, dm the before and after! I wanna see them.
P.S. I know this may be easier said than done. If you’re not feeling the DIY, send me an email, this is kinda my thing and I’d love to help!
See ya next week!
